Who is Sarah ‘Paper’ Smith?
With a career spanning 35 years in the paper and printing industry, my journey began at Howard Smith Paper, followed by roles at James McNaughton, Antalis, Ebbs & Premier Paper.
These positions allowed me to develop extensive knowledge and expertise in the world of paper whilst working with printers across the UK, along the way acquiring a deep understanding of the operations within the major paper merchants.
My experience extended across Europe, where I visited numerous paper mills gaining invaluable insights into the paper manufacturing process. This exposure provided a unique perspective on sourcing various grades, many of which are marketed under different names by merchants.
In 2018, I acquired Dynamic Print, a bespoke printing company utilising machinery dating back to the 1940’s and 1950’s. specialising in hot foiling, die-cutting, debossing and blind embossing.
